Bivouacs - Guest programming
Bétonsalon - Center for art and research is hosting Bivouacs in the fall of 2020, an open program consisting of a series of invitations to festivals, artist collectives, publishing houses, residency and research programs whose activities have been heavily impacted or cancelled due to the sanitary crisis.
By giving space and voice to a diversity of actors and practices, Bétonsalon - Center for art and research wishes to use this transition period to return to the eminently collective, collaborative and transdisciplinary character that constitutes its identity, on and off the beaten path.
The space will successively house the Belgian film festival Courtisane, the *DUUU webradio dedicated to contemporary creation, the Dakar-based residency and research programme RAW Académie, the Ghostmarkets project by artist Julie Ramage, Day With(out) Art and the publishing houses B42, Paraguay Press and Cambourakis. Each will offer screenings, installations, meetings, launches, conferences and workshops.
Between these events, Bétonsalon - Center for art and research will host numerous projects - meetings, workshops, seminars - co-imagined with students from the Université de Paris and the École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Val de Seine, thus becoming the epicenter of local and creative initiatives.

Morgan Patimo : Born in 1992, living and working in Marseille. Visual artist and musician Morgan Patimo explores and shapes a plastic and sound practice governed by the obsession of the moment of composition. His music, as well as his drawings (which go so far as to break into installations), are marked by rhythm and virality. Riff, sample, circulating loops on a proliferating regime of contamination of signs. A repertoire, that appears indistinct and fragmentary, disperses and replicates itself in impulsive scores.
